Unifying
Body, Breath,
Mind and Spirit
Can you recall a moment when
everything in your life seemed to flow effortlessly? When we
are in harmony with the world, our mind is clear, our body
moves easily, our heart is calm, and we are at rest in our
body.
|
| |
The purpose of practicing
Taoist Yoga is to develop this harmony so we can access it
at any time.
Taoist Yoga uses gentle movement, stretches, breath work,
visualization and meditation to balance, heal and strengthen
the body.In Western usage, yoga usually
refers to stretching routines aimed at health and fitness,
most of which derive from Indian systems such as Hatha Yoga. Taoist Yoga represents a modern blend of
ancient Indian and Chinese traditions that have similar
goals and practices.
